Premium Ice Paint for painting ice rinks, hockey rinks, and ice skating arenas – DDI Signs ® your ice rink specialists!
Ultra White Premium Base Coat
Developed by Professional Ice Rink Painters, Ultra White Premium Base Coat ice paint is a patented product that provides the whitest surface possible. Ultra White Ice Rink Paint with a small particle size that makes for easy mixing and reduced clogging in sprayers.
Unlike other traditional brands of ice paint ours is a TWO-PART FORMULA that allows for stronger mixtures to be made for extra hiding power. Resists hose marks from clean hoses dragged on the paint. Non-abrasive formula means no prematurely dulled ice resurfacing blades during cutout. Skaters’ blades will not stop if they hit paint.
How many bags of our Ultra White Premium Base Coat ice paint do you need to coat an NHL sized ice rink?
- (3) Three bags of ice paint per coat.
- Indoor facilities can use between 6 and 9 bags to paint their ice white.
- Outdoor ice rinks should use 9 bags of paint to help reflect the sunlight.
- Environmentally Safe Formula.
What is the best way to apply our Ultra White Premium Base Coat Ice Paint?
A spray wand designed specifically for painting ice rinks. We offer our own spray wand and painting systems for easy application of the base coat paint. Some rinks paint the ice with a garden hose and sprayer. This method uses up to double the amount necessary and can lead to uneven application leaving light and dark spots on the ice. Our Ultra White Premium Base Coat can be used in any commercially available ice painting spray system without damage.
Premium Liquid Color Ice Paints – NO BLEED FORMULA!
Revolutionary new formula offers excellent stroke length, great coverage, and most of all, the paint stays together in the event of a power failure or an inexperienced employee flooding the ice too soon. Because this new paint resists bleeding or breaking apart once it has frozen, the nightmare of cleaning up after a power failure or having to purchase extra base coat bags to hide the bled paint is all but eliminated. Excellent option for outdoor rinks that always wanted to paint their lines and in ice logos but did not because of the potential mess!
