Do Under Ice Logos cause a tripping hazard for skaters?
NO. This is a claim that was started by a company that sells ice paint, our products eliminate the need for ice paint when installing in ice logos.
No one has ever been able to provide a name of the facility, town, or even date of any such lawsuit or accident happening. We have been providing in ice logos since 1993 and have never heard from one of our customers that they had this problem. There are many reason that may cause a skater to trip on the ice, including some white base coat ice paints that are extremely abrasive or rinks installing inferior in ice logo materials that have not been tested.
OUR LOGOS ARE NOT INSTALLED ON THE ICE SURFACE, THEY ARE FROZEN UNDER THE ICE SURFACE.
Ice thickness above ice paint, logos and lines should be maintained at 1.5″ and routine ice rink maintenance is critical to prevent any chance of litigation.
Do you sell just the material so I can print my own ice logos?
- No, we only sell the complete printed in ice logo. IceFab ® products are a proprietary line of ink-jet printed ice media and rink graphics and are only available from DDI Signs®.
How long does it take to for you to produce my ice logos?
Depending on our work load and the quantity ordered, approximately 5-7 days plus shipping from the time the job is approved. This means we have artwork in correct format, signed proof, payment and all paper work received. In some case rush production is available at an additional cost. Please allow enough time for us to produce your logos before you plan to install your ice.

How do you ship my ice logo products?
We ship via FedEx & FedEx Freight. We only ship our under ice logos rolled onto a tube, we do not fold our ice logos.
What kind of payments do you accept?
We accept Cash, Company Checks, Cashiers Checks, Money Orders, and Credit Cards – Master Card, Visa, American Express. We require a signed contract along with deposit payment or payment in full to proceed with design or production of your project. Custom orders required a non-refundable deposit.
